Anthropologie expands their wedding line, BHLDN, beyond attire to include favors, cake toppers, candles, garland and more! Here are some of our favorites!
Gifts
I think every couple should have nice china. They should use it, often. But what happens when you already have some? What do you register for then? Don’t worry there are plenty of wonderful ways to still tactfully ask for what you want without registering for a bunch of stuff you don’t need.
I love to see traditional items accompanied by gifts that are unique to who you are as a couple, so I have compiled a list of some of our favorite new ideas in wedding registries.
Wine
House Wine in Worthington, Ohio has added a wine registry to their list of services. Couples can select wines they love, begin to build a private collection or my personal favorite ask the staff to help you select the perfect bottles to enjoy on each of your anniversaries. Imagine sipping on a rich California Cabernet on your 50th wedding anniversary, it gives me goose bumps just thinking about it.
Donate
Unfortunately we still live in a world where not everyone has the legal right to marry. By creating a wedding registry with the Human Rights Campaign your guests will be able to donate in your name and help the fight for marriage equality.
Get Outdoors
Great for the outdoorsy couple, REI allows you to register for all the gear you ever wanted. Perfect for the outdoorsy couple who like to spend time hiking, camping or on the slopes.
Travel
With Travelers Joy you book your honeymoon and then create a registry that reflects the things you want to see and experience. Ashtanga yoga in Mysore, India? Sure no problem. Gelato while exploring the Piazza della Signoria in Florence? Sounds just perfect for you!
